This week, I reached the part of the last book where the Purple Wizard attacks the enemy king's entourage only to discover it was a trap. But he has his own surprises for the enemy.

It's been a quiet week for us in central Texas as we wait for the weather to turn more like fall. Our back yard continues to be visited by various small animals. Today the two foxes were searching for food beside the fence.
As I write this, I'm listening to Meatloaf's Two Out of Three Ain't Bad. I always considered this to be his best song.
