A small tumble

Chris Hattan is continuing to work on the audiobook for Defender of Vosj. As of Sunday, he was at chapter 40 of 74. The final copy is due at the end of February, and I'm keen to review it. It should be available on Amazon in early March.

Well, the opening book to the second series took a tumble after I finished making the revisions I had in mind. The editor took exception to where the story ends, and after a week of thinking, I had to agree. So, now I am moving the ending up by a quarter of the book, which will make it a little shorter. I will end up tossing out six chapters and moving another six to the second book. Ah, well, at least I feel the story is better for the changes. Although I feel I'm still at least a week away from finishing them, I don't see any impediments to making my goal of publishing them in June of 2026.

I have also begun working on the second book, which now has six chapters stolen from the first.

This week's photo is a reprise of one I used a year ago that shows my favorite toy for relaxing my mind when I'm stressed. I guess you can call it my figit toy.

As I write this, I'm listening to The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me." Whenever I hear the piano at the start of this song, I stop whatever I'm doing to listen. Is there such a thing as a piano riff??
