Book update

Chris is continuing to work on the audiobook for Defender of Vosj. The final copy is due in February, and I'm keen to hear it.

Austin is at the southern limit of the winter freeze hitting the USA, and this week's photo is the view down my street on Sunday morning. This is the third time I've seen snow in the 15 years I've been here.

I'm in the final phase of revising the first book in Arise Defenders. I am anticipating publishing the first book in the series in the summer of 2026. I've now begun the first phase of revising the second book in the series. I continue to devote about five hours a day to my book writing. The first boo

k will be titled Return of the Defenders, and the second book is called Withered Wizard. Though I still reserve the right to change those titles up until the day I order the cover, which is fast approaching.

As I write this, I'm listening to Elton John's "Daniel." This song describes a young brother's confusion upon seeing his older brother's return from Vietnam a changed man.
