Withered Wizard

The picture this week is the cover for the second book in the series, Arise Defenders. It shows little Tresela reacting to the fire, knowing her mother is trapped inside. The first version had the five-year-old facing the other way, which I didn't like.

The second book, Withered Wizard, in the second series, Arise Defenders, is 90% complete now and should be finished in May. It continues to be a challenge that I have enjoyed solving. Meanwhile, my beta reader, Mysterious Henry, has provided useful feedback on the first book, Return of the Defenders, which has me reworking the novel's ending.

Chris Hattan has finished the first part of the narration for the second book in the Defenders of Vosj series. The expected completion is the end of May, and once approved it will be made available on Audible and Amazon.

I am also working on two other tasks: putting together a Kickstarter to launch the first book in the second series; finding someone to create a decent map for the fantasy series.

As I write this, I'm listening to Paul McCartney's "Yesterday." Was this solo song the definitive marker for the end of the Beatles?
