The fourth book was released on 12/9. Its revised cover is shown in the photo, and it is

available for review on its page on this site. That is it for any new releases for several months, while I concentrate my time on the second four-book series, which I have tentatively dubbed "Arise Defenders."

I've begun working on the audiobook for the first volume after getting my sound studio back. Over Thanksgiving, my daughter and I experimented with her doing the female characters' voices. I found the process enjoyable, and we'll have to see whether we continue the experiment. I certainly didn't give Carol enough time to practice, so I will not be making my decision based on how she sounded, but rather on the logistics of doing it this way and how it sounds with two voices. 

I've heard that readers prefer either the author's voice (because they can express the nuances of the story best) or a professional actor (because they can emote the best). So, I hope people see the author and daughter as the first way, since I can explain what I felt the character was going through at each point in the story.

As I write this, I'm listening to Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love." This was the music I listened to in high school. Eric Clapton was my favorite guitar player.
