The audiobook is coming soon

Last month, I reached 280,000 pages read on Kindle Unlimited, a sum I never expected to see. I may reach 2 million total pages sometime this month. Thank you to all those who have read my books; it is for the readers that I put in all this effort.

I have made an about-turn on my audiobook. For now, my skills are not adequate, so I've found a nice narrator on ACX who has agreed to provide the audio file for the first book by the end of February. Chris Hattan's picture is this week's photo. I picked Chris because I liked how his narration brought out the meaning in my text. It also doesn't hurt that he's from Yorkshire in England.

The first book in the second series, Arise Defenders, is on track to be ready for my beta readers in early February. I am anticipating publishing the first book in the series in the summer of 2026.

As I write this, I'm listening to Joe Walsh's "Life's Been Good." This song has my favorite line: "They say I'm lazy, but it takes all my time."
