Kickstarter

The picture this week is one of the pieces of graphics I've created as I prepare for a Kickstarter campaign in June. I will be launching the first book in the Arise Defenders series with a month-long Kickstarter to offer early ebooks, special edition hardcovers, my handwritten drafts of chapters, and even naming characters after them. In the next newsletter, I will have the Kickstarter start date firmed up. I hope to have a new map ready for the Kickstarter, but if not, then before the book's launch.

I've completed the first round of revisions for Withered Wizard, and I'm near the end of the second round of revisions, leaving only a final read-through by me before I send it to my beta readers.

Chris Hattan is over halfway through the narration for the second book in the Defenders of Vosj series. The expected completion is the end of May, and once approved, it will be made available on Audible and Amazon. I have a narrator for the second series. Linda McDade has a soft, engaging voice with many accents. The audiobook for Return of the Defenders should be ready by the book’s launch.

As I write this, I'm listening to Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing." This quickly became the anthem song for MTV.
