It's been a busy week. It was the first week back in my company's offices, so I had to get back into the routine of getting up before six to drive in the dark. But I still managed to get my writing in each day. I have finished my review of the Rhubarb Queen, and that story is now with my beta reader. I am about halfway through recrafting the fifth story, Get Stumpy.

I haven't forgotten my promise to provide a free download of Rhubarb Queen to my newsletter followers. I will provide a link once I get feedback from Mysterious Henry and I've put together a cover. Hopefully, this will be in next week's newsletter.
On Sunday, we went to a winery in the Texas Hillcountry and were surprised when live music began for the second time in two months. When the singer sang "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, I thought of my absent friends and lost relatives. This snapshot is of the musician who entertained us over a late lunch.
As I write this, I'm listening to the Police's "Every Breath You Take." It's a popular but creepy song that sounds like stalking. By Police standards, it was a rather straightforward song.
